Eco-Club Committee

The Eco-Club Committee of K. H. Patil School of Law, Hubballi is established with the objective of promoting environmental awareness, sustainability, and responsible citizenship among students and the community. The Committee functions as a platform to sensitise students about environmental protection and to encourage active participation in eco-friendly initiatives. The Eco-Club Committee conducts various programmes such as tree plantation drives, environmental awareness campaigns, cleanliness drives, seminars, workshops, poster-making competitions, rallies, street plays, nature conservation activities, and outreach programmes in schools, colleges, and local communities. The Committee aims to educate students and the public about the importance of protecting natural resources, reducing pollution, conserving biodiversity, managing waste responsibly, and adopting sustainable practices in daily life. It also seeks to create awareness about environmental laws, climate change, plastic reduction, water conservation, and the need for collective responsibility towards a clean and green environment. The Eco-Club Committee provides an opportunity for students to develop leadership qualities, teamwork, social responsibility, and environmental consciousness. Through collaboration with government departments, NGOs, environmental experts, local bodies, educational institutions, and community organisations, the Committee strives to contribute towards environmental protection, sustainable development, and the creation of an eco-conscious society.
