Legal Aid Cell

The Legal Aid Cell of K. H. Patil School of Law, Hubballi is established with the objective of promoting social justice and creating legal awareness among the public. The Cell functions as a bridge between legal education and society by encouraging students to actively participate in legal aid and community service activities. The Legal Aid Cell conducts various programmes such as legal awareness camps, seminars, workshops, legal literacy drives, street plays, counselling sessions, and outreach activities in rural and urban areas. The Cell aims to educate people about their legal rights, duties, and remedies available under the law, particularly for the benefit of underprivileged and marginalized sections of society. The Cell also provides an opportunity for law students to develop professional ethics, advocacy skills, leadership qualities, and a sense of social responsibility. Through collaboration with advocates, judges, NGOs, government departments, and statutory bodies, the Legal Aid Cell strives to contribute towards access to justice and legal empowerment of the community.
